Career roadmap for your role
Pick a role. We check which skills it needs and which you already show, then give you the gaps in order, with weeks, projects to build and questions to prepare. Part of the Premium plan.
- 32 roles, from software and data to accounts, marketing, engineering, teaching and health.
- Starts from the skills your resume already shows.
- Gaps in order, with weeks at the hours you can give.
- A plan from any job post for a role that is not listed.
What the career roadmap does
Most roadmaps give everyone the same list. This one starts from you. You pick a role, and it shows the skills that role needs in three phases: foundations, core skills and proof of your work. It ticks the skills your resume already shows, you tick or untick the rest, and it gives you only the gaps, in the order to close them, with the weeks they take at the hours you can give each week. It is part of the Premium plan.
The roles it covers
Frontend developer, Backend developer, Full-stack developer, Android developer, DevOps engineer, Cloud engineer, Cybersecurity analyst (SOC), QA and test engineer, Data analyst, Data scientist and ML engineer, Data engineer, AI engineer (building with LLMs), Embedded and electronics engineer, UI/UX designer, Product manager, Business analyst, Accounts executive (Tally, GST), Digital marketing executive, Content writer and SEO writer, Sales and business development executive, HR executive and generalist, Customer support executive, Operations and supply chain executive, Bank PO and clerk (IBPS and SBI exams), School teacher, Pharmacist, Staff nurse, Civil engineer, Mechanical engineer, Electrical engineer, Graphic designer and Video editor.
If your role is not on the list, paste one job post. The plan is then built from the skills that one post asks for and your skills do not yet show.
How a roadmap is built
Each roadmap is written from the order that public role roadmaps, Indian fresher job posts and training guides agree on, and for roles with an official route, such as teachers, pharmacists, nurses and bank exams, the eligibility or registration step is part of the plan. It is a starting plan, not a promise of a job. A job post you are aiming at always wins, so check the plan against it and add to your resume only what you can really do.
What you get for each role
- The skills you already show, ticked from your resume skills, and the gaps in order.
- Weeks for each phase, at 5, 10, 15 or 20 hours a week.
- Projects to build that a recruiter can open.
- Questions to be ready to answer in an interview.
- Free places to learn it, such as official documentation, NPTEL, SWAYAM and free vendor courses.
Your privacy
The skills you tick and the role you pick are saved in your own browser. The plan is worked out in your browser. The only thing that comes from our server is the roadmap for the role you open, and we record an anonymous event such as "roadmap opened" with the role, never your resume. Read the full privacy page for the details.
What to do next
- Check your resume first
- Update your resume with the new skills

Common questions
What is the career roadmap?
A plan for one role that starts from the skills you already have. It lists the gaps in order, with weeks, projects to build, questions to prepare and free places to learn.
Which plan includes the career roadmap?
The Premium plan. Free, Regular and Medium plans can see the list of roles but not the roadmaps.
How does it know what skills I already have?
It reads the skills saved from your resume check or your resume builder in this browser and ticks the matching ones. You can untick any you cannot show and tick any it missed.
What if my role is not on the list?
Paste one job post for that role. The plan is built from the skills that post requires and your skills do not yet show, then the nice-to-have ones, then a project that proves them.
Is the roadmap a guarantee of a job?
No. It is a starting plan built from public role guides and job post skill lists. Check it against the job posts you aim at, and put on your resume only the skills you really have.
Does the roadmap use AI?
No. The roadmaps are written by us and the plan is worked out by fixed rules from your ticks and your weekly hours, so it is instant and the same every time.
